Sad News

 Our long-serving Drum Sergeant Sandy Milne passed away on Friday, 15th December.  He will be sadly missed by all, he was a dedicated member of the Band and drum tutor to many. He first joined the band in 1965 for 15 years then rejoined in 1993. He was presented with an engraved quaich at our annual dinner in November for his 40 years service. We extend our sincere condolences to all his family.

New Pipe Major

 Ian Stuart has now taken on the role of Pipe Major as Hamish Dean advised that he would step down in 2017. He has beeen Pipe Major for 35 years and the Band is indebted to him for all his dedication and hard work.  He is now our Band Manager and wishes Ian all the very best in his new role.  

Junior Piping Trophy

 The Piping Trophy was awarded to Ryan Clark, well done to him. 

Bandsman of the Year and Drumming Cup 2016

 The vote for Bandsman of the Year went to our drummer Glenn Morrison, who was also awarded the Drumming Cup at our social evening.  Congratulations to Glenn.

 Sarah Grant was awarded Band Person of the Year.  The Piping Cup was awarded to Chelsea Crighton and the Drummer's Cup to Liam McIntosh.
